Biking
There are different levels of mountain bike excursions organized by Papelote School.
You can enjoy exciting trips with mountain bike thanks to Fabio Conti’s experience who is actively involved in the field of biking for more than 12 years. Fabio discovers numerous new routes in the upper part of Como and Low Valtellina.
Papelote Surf School and Fabio offer you 25 bike tours of different levels.
All routes have been chosen and tested in order to provide paved climbing part and mule paths, trails or dirt roads for the descending part of the route.
- E = Limited Experience Riders
- EE = Expert Riders
- EE+ = Trained Expert Riders
The classification is driven by the specific route difficulty (altitude gap, downhill difficulty, exposed sections) and many other factors. For some of the trips transport is available on demand.
All durations are based on an average trained rider and refer to the actual riding times.
The choice of the itineraries is generally based on the overall pedalability, considering both the up- and downhill sections.
It is always recommended to bring a pump and tyre repair materials with you, as well as wearing helmet.
It is possible to shoot a HD video of the most beautiful and fun moment of the trip on participants’ demand, and prepare a customized DVD with music on their choice.
In order to participate it is necessary to be Papelote Surf School member … becoming a member is easy: visit the SCHOOL section, fill-in and send us the MEMBERSHIP REQUEST form.

The Papelote Surf School members can try the emotion of flying in tandem paraglider with the qualified pilot Fabio Conti. The whole experience will be shoot in HD video and recorded on DVD with music of your choice!
